ABOUT ME

Hello, I’m Amy - I’m one of the founding members of Anseo Anois Theatre and I also run this database of babysitters! I’m an actor, director and playwright, originally from Brighton, but living and working in Dublin since training in Acting at The Lir Academy. I have a lot of experience with babies, children and teens. I come from a big family with my youngest sister, Nuala, being born when I was 13, so I spent a lot of time helping with babies and younger children in my teens. I’ve also taught children and young people’s Acting Classes and Summer Schools.

REVELANT EXPERIENCE

As mentioned above, I’ve taught for ages 3-18 in Saturday classes and Summer Schools at The Academy of Creative Training, in Brighton, since 2011. Still sometimes returning seasonally.

I was a babysitter for the children of several family friends and neighbours during my teens, as well as regularly taking care of my own younger siblings and their friends.

I have received First Aid Training. I have a DBS check (valid in the UK) and have previously been Garda Vetted in Ireland.

WHAT I’M INTERESTED IN

I would be open to all ages and think I can handle up to 4 children at once, depending on the age range of the children.

I’m happy to do in-house or day trip/after school activities.

CURRENT AVAILABILITY

I’m currently unavailable on Wednesday and Friday nights, otherwise very flexible. I would prefer notice but am open to last minute enquiries.

LOCATION

Northside Dublin City Centre, on the Green-line Luas. I’m open to travelling around the city, as long as it is accessible by public transport.

NOTES

If I am travelling home later then 00:00, the cost of my taxi will be added.

My rate will be higher on Bank Holidays.
