ABOUT ME

Hiya, I’m Sorcha. I am from the UK, but have family based in West Cork, Kerry and Dublin. I work part time in a bookstore and am a freelance theatre director. I have a keen interest in reading, music and popular culture! I am very used to looking after children as I currently have 10 cousins under the age of 15 all of whom I have had the privilege of spending lots of time with. 

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

I have five years of teaching drama to children ages 4-15, I work at Fiona Crowley Stage School in Killarney during their summer camps; supporting the staff and working with up to sixty children aged 3-16 each week. 

I have been employed to babysit for various families since I was 16. I have also tutored in English, History and Music for various families with teenage children.  

I have a DBS certification. 

WHAT I’M INTERESTED IN

I would be most suitable working with 5-16 year olds. I would be comfortable being responsible for up to three children but would prefer if one of them was over the age of ten. 

CURRENT AVAILABILITY

Weekdays after 6. 

Some flexibility on weekends. Last minute enquiries are welcome. 

LOCATION

I am based on the Northside of Dublin City
