LET’S TRY SWINGIN’
by Leo Hanna
Presented as part of Dublin Fringe Festival 2024 &
As Seen on Fringe at Project Arts Centre 2025
Meet Lily and Jim, Tadgh and Flora – two couples dipping their toes into swinging for the first time, though no one will admit it. Behind monogamy’s closed doors, they navigate sexual frustration and the messy, unsexy reality of human relationships. This comedy explores the unwritten rules of swinging: talk first or dive in? Eat before or after? Why is there a pineapple on the door? With wine chilling, quiche in the oven, and Rennies at the ready, what could possibly go wrong?
“Deliciously entertaining…wonderfully enjoyable.”

Keeping vigil
by Oonagh Wall
A work in progress presentation.
Three friends reunite in their hometown on the eve of a funeral to stay awake overnight and keep vigil over the body. A bittersweet reunion becomes a nostalgic trip down memory lane as libations are poured and stories are retold. But as the night progresses, old tensions resurface and new secrets emerge. Nostalgia inevitably gives way to the present and old ties are tested by an uneasy reckoning with the past – and each other. Among the fraying loose ends and crumbling half-truths, will this night bring them back together or tear them apart?

THE PRIDE
by Alexi Kaye Campbell
Presented as part of The International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival 2024
Set in two times, the UK in the 1950s and the 2000s, The Pride charts the struggles and seismic changes in attitudes to sexuality that have taken place over 50 years in Britain. The Guardian says “Campbell's play is a work of art that juxtaposes scenes from the repressive 1950s with others from the more liberated, but still imperfect, present”. The past’s tortuous emotional triangle: ‘Philip’, an estate agent married to ‘Sylvia’ but is attracted to ‘Oliver’. In the present, the names are the same, but the characters are different.
Times change, attitudes change but do people really change?
Contains depiction of sexual assault and derogatory language.

PALER, STILL
by Oonagh Wall
Set in a near-future Ireland where the Western World has eaten itself into anonymity and another Great Recession, Paler, Still is a new dramatic-comedy centered around two childhood friends. After Aisling suffers a mental breakdown, Liam brings her across the newly established border that separates the Greater Dublin Region from the rest of the country. In this abandoned hotel deep in Tipperary she can heal, convalesce and recuperate. However, old tensions simmer under the surface of this idealised place.
Paler, Still explores the nature of capitalist society, the value of culture, and the cost of the rural-urban divide.
